Saartje’s Booties
Saartje has a sweet knitblog, and these are some cute booties that she designed. She has written out and posted the pattern for *free*! How nice!
I finally made a pair this weekend. They’ve been on my to-do list for a while now.
These were super quick and fun to make, and they also gave me motivation to poke around on Ravelry. I had trouble understanding how I was supposed to make the straps, so I found a Ravelry forum that answered my question perfectly. Then I messed around in my “Notebook” and posted all of my information about this project: Needle size, yarn used, how I would rate the pattern and yarn… I hope you have signed up for membership - it’s free and is an amazing resource.
The strap transition was a little funky for beginners. I could do a tutorial if it would help any of you.
