Javajem Wristlet

Mar 7th

Jody at javajem designed these wonderful wristlets, and she has generously posted a free tutorial on her blog.

I’m not very experienced with sewing anything other than curtains, but with her detailed instructions, I think I should be able to make one of these cuties.

Now, for the gorgeous fabric… Jody suggests Reprodepo … oooh … they have Marimekko fabric!

And PurlSoho… Oooh! Pink woodgrain, sweet!

Jody seems to like designer Amy Butler, and I can see why… *love* these:

Anywho, I hope you have fun with that tutorial. I’m planning on trying it out soon. Also, take some time to look around Jody’s blog; it’s full of great tips and beautiful, crafty photographs.

Thank you Jody for sharing your tutorial!

Hi!! I’ve got a brand new sewing machine and I’m totally itching to use it. These look like so much fun to make. This summer we should totally go nuts with fabrics. Loving it!
